You Can Do It...

“My salvation and my honor depend on God; He is my mighty rock, my refuge is in God,” ~ Psalms 62:7

I believe that sometimes the things that bring so much joy to your life can be the scariest! It’s about taking that first step and then watch what happens!

A few weeks ago, I had the honor of being the speaker at a women’s weekend retreat. What a fabulous weekend it turned out to be… for me! I also was a vendor with my home décor and taught crafting classes too! (Exhausting, but so worth it!)

A few months ago when I was asked to provide the devotions for that weekend… my first thought was… I can’t possibly do it. But in my heart… I knew God was pushing me beyond my comfort zone. And you know what? It was exactly what I had prayed for… stretch me and grow my faith, Lord.

So my question for you is… What is God asking you to do that you are scared to try?

The simple truth is… if God calls you to it, He is the one to guide you through it!

When I think back over the last 18 years of my life… I am absolutely amazed at the people, places and opportunities Father God has brought into my life! I know I did not say, “Yes!” to everything, but what I did… I will always be thankful for His guidance through it!
