One Breath...

“For in a dark cold tomb Where our Lord was laid One miraculous breath And we're forever changed”

Do you ever feel like the in between time is the hardest time?

What do you think was going on in the minds and hearts of those that had followed Jesus up to His crucifixion???

A punch to the gut! Literally no way to even catch their breath!

There had to be hope… waning hope!

Was it all a bad dream?

Every moment that ticked by… did a little hope trickle away?

Believing the lies!

What have you learned in the time in between?

The hardest time, BUT… it can also be the most rewarding.

During these times we can be drawn closer to God... our eyes can be taken off ourselves and our problems... we can reach out to help someone else... we can completely surrender our ways to God's ways.

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

Just know that in the time in between you are not alone… you are not the only one!

Jesus was there from the moment God spoke the world into existence to that first light!

Jesus was there from Heaven to the womb!

Jesus was there from the cross to the tomb!

Jesus was there from the tomb to the resurrection!

Praise God!

Hold tight to ALL that you know to be truth… God’s Living Truth inside you!

In the silence… in the stillness… in the in-between time you can rest in His loving arms and His faithfulness!

Be amazed… be thankful… praise Him!

He will get you through! He will complete the work He has begun in you!

I’m convinced that God, who began this good work in you, will carry it through to completion on the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6

I started this post with the lyrics from “All Hail King Jesus”… we sang that song a couple weeks ago in church. When I sang the words, “One miraculous breath And we're forever changed”… I’m forever changed!!! I was so moved to think how that one breath changed my life forever!

From His final breath on the cross to His miraculous first breath in the tomb!

He is risen! He is risen indeed!

Blessed Easter!

In His Grace, carin
